Måns Svensson, Prof. of Sociology of Law and President of Jönköping University. Previously Dean of School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences at Halmstad University. For many years, Svensson also worked at Lund University, where he, among other, initiated Lund university Internet Institute and headed the research center Work, Technology and Social Change. Svensson’s research focus is on sociology of law and norm-science in relation to new technology. Svensson is frequently invited to state authorities and organizations, in Sweden and abroad, as speaker and lecturer on topics related to legal compliance and social norms. He is a reoccurring commentator on socio-legal matters in media. Svensson has also participated in several legislation processes within Sweden. 

Dir. and Prof. Dr. Thomas Alexander is head of Division 2 – Product and Work Systems – at the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) in Germany since 2019. Prior to this, he has worked for 26 years at the Fraunhofer Society in various positions, conducting applied research studies in Human Factors and Ergonomics. Dr. Alexander has originally studied safety engineering and obtained his MSc in safety engineering in 1994, and his PhD in engineering (Dr.-Ing.) in 2002. In 2004 and 2005 he has been Visiting Scientist at the NASA Ames Research Center, CA, USA. Since 2021, he is also Vice President of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA), the global umbrella organization for the national human factors and ergonomics societies. Dr. Alexander has been involved in many national, European and international initiatives and activities. He is member of multiple committees addressing human factors and ergonomics topics, and occupational safety and health. His current research topics range from product and machinery safety, physical factors of the working environment, ergonomics, digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in work systems to safe and healthy work in times of climate change. Dr. Alexander has a clear international profile and believes in the increasing importance of free and open exchange of knowledge on an international scale.

Prof. Annika Engström is a Full Professor of Work Organisation at the School of Engineering, Jönköping University. Her research encompasses communication and learning within organizations, focusing heavily on managing conflicting logics and change. A core aspect of her work involves paradoxical thinking, organizational ambidexterity, and meeting efficiency. Currently, Prof. Engström leads a research group dedicated to “Leading and organizing AI transformation,” addressing the structural adaptations required for artificial intelligence integration. She has also directed major collaborative initiatives, bridging academic theory with applied industrial leadership.

Dr Jari Kaivo-oja has acted as the Research Director of Finland Futures Research Centre since 2004 at the University of Turku, Finland. Prof. Jari Kaivo-oja has worked as technology foresight expert of Allied ICT Finland (AIF, the biggest ICT cluster in the Nordic countries, https://www.alliedict.fi/ ) in the fields of Metaverse and Industry X fields. He is also a Board Member of the EDIH Robocoast in Finland (Ranked 2^th best EDIH Innovation Hub of the European Union in 2025, https://robocoast.eu/). He has served the European Commission, the Academy of Finland, Business Finland, the European Foundation, Nordic Innovation Center (NIC), Rand Europe, the NATO, the Eurostat, the EU-OSHA, and the European Parliament in various research and STI development projects and expert positions as STI adviser. His special academic research fields of research are: (1) Technology foresight, knowledge management, and applied digitalisation research (Adjunct prof. at the University of Vaasa at the Department of Production Economics). (2) foresight and innovation research (Adjunct prof. at the University of Lapland at the Department of Social Sciences), and (3) planning sciences in human geography (Adjunct prof. at the University of Helsinki at the Department of Geosciences at the Faculty of Science). In Lithuania, Vilnius, Dr Jari Kaivo-oja has worked as Research Professor and Professor Atestatis in Social Sciences since 2018 at the Kazimieras Simonavičius University (KSU) focusing on Big Data analytics. Recently, he has investigated Industry 5.0 transformation in various studies and projects, and he has been Principal Investigator (PI) in two Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions of the European Commission after year 2018.

Una Emilsdóttir was educated at the University of Copenhagen and is currently undertaking specialist training in occupational and environmental medicine in Denmark. She has a strong interest in preventive medicine, with a particular focus on how environmental factors in modern society can have long-term effects on human health—especially during vulnerable periods such as fetal development, early childhood, and puberty. Her primary goal is to raise awareness among consumers about harmful substances in their immediate environment—often hidden and largely unknown—and to demonstrate how health risks can be reduced through prevention and informed decision-making in homes, schools, and workplaces. Since 2015, Una has shared her expertise widely and to great public interest, bridging scientific research with clinical experience. She has spoken at conferences such as Læknadagar, delivered lectures for upper secondary schools, workplaces, and the general public, and appeared in podcasts, radio, and television. She has also served as a guest lecturer in environmental psychology at Reykjavík University and at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Iceland. In addition, she is a professional advisor for the “Hrein Vara” certification at Lyfja.
